Apple Inc. announced its long-rumored spatial reality headset, which is called vision pro. It was announced on June 5, 2023, at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. we do know that its initial launch will be USA but rumored said that Apple is apparently planning to launch in UK and Canada as two of the first international markets to get mixed reality headsets by the end of 2024 according to the Bloomberg Mark German and German also said that Apple is looking at the bringing the vision pro to Europe and Asia soon after with Apple Engineers working to localize the device for France, Germany, Australia, China, Hongkong, Japan and Korea.
Apple Vision Pro is facilitated with two micro OLED displays for the wearer’s eyes and the outward-facing curved lenticular lens. Micro OLED displays were supplied by Sony and TSMC for the prototypes.
This is by far the best looking headset in this category. Apple calls it spatial reality but really, it’s mixed reality. It blends augmented reality which is showing the world around you with virtual objects with virtual reality.
